• For those who want to gain free access to others code or who simply want to give something back to the community, this is possible.
• For those who want to earn a fair wage for the value of what he or she creates, this too is possible.

These benefits can be in tension so the purpose of the copyflex license is to help resolve this tension.  What you need to know is:

• If you plan to make your new developments open, then there is no charge to you or to anyone who wants to use your work.
• If you plan to charge for your new developments then there may be a charge to you.
• If you plan to keep your new developments private and not make them available to the community, then there may be a charge depending on whether you're a firm or individual.
